The Nike Air Max 270 “Triple Black” is a black monochromatic colorway of the comfortable lifestyle shoe. If the giant Air bubble on the back of the Air Max 270 looks familiar, that’s because it is—none other than the Nike Air Max 93’s 360-degree Air unit inspires the design’s oversized look. The rest of the shoe is decidedly contemporary with black mesh forming the base and black neoprene on the heel counter. A bootie-like construction allows the wearer to effortlessly slip into the shoe. Tonal Swoosh hits can be found on the forefoot and lateral heel. Futuristic “Air” branding is embossed into the black synthetic overlay on the heel. The aforementioned Max Air unit in the heel displays a black tint and the lightweight foam midsole is painted black to complete the all-black aesthetic. Release date: March 16, 2018.
